DIS has redundant encoders, but not with shaft. The redundant encoder is a contactless encoder with QR40EMN housing. User our product selector to find the right sensor. QR40 series with shaft is going to be obsolete, and we have no plans to design a redundant encoder with QR40 housing either. These are the remaining models we are still producing. DIS focuses now mainly on the contactless encoders for advantages such as no bearing and no mechanical frictions.
